The Prism 8K pairs two unusual materials in a single cable. The outer sheath is a crystal diamond braid with silver plating that shifts under desk light. Inside, the conductor is 448-strand single-crystal copper the conductor class used in high-end headphone cables for low-resistance signal integrity.

The inline housing carries an 8000 Hz polling chip and a fixed eleven-LED diffuser. Both connector shells are 6063 anodized aluminum, milled and engraved on the USB-A and USB-C ends.

Common questions.

Do I need a driver?

No. Plug-and-play. The lighting is not user-adjustable color and effect are fixed at the factory.

Is the light always on?

Yes whenever the cable is connected to a powered PC, the LEDs stay lit. When the PC is off or USB power is cut, the lights turn off with it.

Will this enable 8000 Hz polling on my keyboard?

Only if your keyboard’s firmware supports 8000 Hz polling. The cable is designed to carry an 8K signal cleanly, but your polling rate is set by the keyboard itself. Pair with an 8K-capable board to get the benefit.

What if my devices use different connectors?

This cable ships as USB-A USB-C. Contact us if you need a different connector configuration.
