Promotes Good Posture Not Too Soft, Not Too Firm
The material is a balance between a soft feel and a firm surface. It promotes good posture by not providing too much cushioning when you slip into bad posture.
Bad posture places too much weight on your wrists, compressing your carpal tunnel the channel that carries your blood vessels and nerves. Too much cushioning might temporarily relieve pain but it worsens the underlying issue with increased compression. The Wooting wrist rest’s firmer-than-foam silicone prevents that trap.

It will fit alongside most 80% / TKL keyboards, though the angle pairs most cleanly with the Wooting 80HE.What’s the angle, and why does it matter?6 the same angle as the Wooting 80HE keyboard. Matching the keyboard’s angle creates an edgeless transition from the wrist rest to the keys, so your wrists don’t bend at a different slope than your fingers. This reduces carpal-tunnel compression and finger-tendon strain. How do I clean it?Rinse under running water or wipe with a damp cloth. No chemicals, no washing machine, no special precautions silicone is fully waterproof and hygienic, and plain water removes everything in seconds. Is the silicone safe? BPA-free?Yes high-quality silicone is BPA-free, hypoallergenic, and skin-friendly. Silicone doesn’t harbour bacteria, doesn’t develop white stains, and doesn’t cause smell, skin irritation, or allergic reactions over time. It’s the same material category used in kitchen tools, medical equipment, and children’s toys.Is this the best wrist rest for a Wooting 80HE or TKL mechanical keyboard? For Wooting 80HE owners specifically, the angle match makes this one of the cleanest pairings on the market. For other 80% / TKL builds, the silicone material, hygienic finish, and posture-promoting balance still make it a strong pick particularly if you’ve struggled with foam wrist rests that warp, stain, or over-cushion.
